We are experiencing an issue where when a user’s session is disconnected the Logout script do not run and were are left with Stale user profile folders. Another odd issue is it seem to be 100% consistent only with certain apps, in my case IE and Outlook. I have also noticed that this causes a spike in the winlogon process ( about 10 min). An alternative is to review the details within the orphaned node, this will provide the name of the node.  From there you can review your configuration for custom actions or conditions.  have a peek here
